Hey everyone! I have always been in love with the outdoors but didn’t seriously get into hiking until college. As of 2025, I have completed the NE111 hiking challenge – the 115 4,000 footers in the Northeast! This consists of the 46 High Peaks in the Adirondacks (NY), 2 others in NY, the 48 4,000 footers in the White Mountains (NH), the 5 in Vermont and the 14 in Maine.
Besides the big mountains up here I enjoy many other hiking lists as well! Follow along with my blog to stay up to date on my progress and read how to hike all these mountains yourself! I even share dog friendly hikes that I’ve done with my dog Willie or other pups.

Hiking Outside New England
Of course there are amazing mountain ranges, landscapes, and trails outside New England as well! I’ve been so fortunate to grow up here but I love traveling the country and exploring the outdoors in every state I visit. Due to my brief time spent in each I only usually get to do shorter trails or ones that are easy to access. However, I’d love to do more backpacking trips in different states sometime (finally did my first one out in Washington with friends!), for example hike up into the Tetons for a night and get away from the main trails. For now I’ll just be sharing trails I’ve already completed and what I think you need to check out! I’ve created a post about backpacking essentials from my experiences so far in hopes it helps you as well!
